Funeral services for Mrs. Lila Madison of 649 Goff street were held Nov. 29 at 
Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter officiating.  Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Madison, a member of Tree of Life and Evening Star lodges died Nov. 25.  A 
native of Princess Anne County, daughter of the late John and Mariah Jones, she 
was the widow of the late Lewis Madison.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Helen Walke of Norfolk and one son, Russel 
Dean, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ginny Sivels.
