Madison of 2925 Woodlawn avenue received final rites Saturday at Second Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. H. W. B. Walker. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home in charge. A native of Ivor, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Collins P. Madison and Mrs. Maggie S. Madison. She died June 8 in a hospital after a short illness. She was a member of Second Calvary Baptist church, attended West Virginia State College and was an honor graduate of Meharry School of Dental Hygiene. Surviving are three brothers, Thomas H. Madison, William R. Madison and Horace P. Madison of New York; and four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice M. Johnson of Washington, Mrs. Bernice M. Mays of New York, Mrs. Hortense M. Southall and Mrs. Shelby Taylor of Norfolk.
