Amelia A. Madison, 96, formerly of the 400 block of Painter St., died Jan. 13, 
2000.

Mrs. Madison was a native of Norfolk. She was the widow of Vernon L. Madison and 
was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include one niece, Marie Morlino; four nephews, John A. Vita, Joseph A. 
Vita, Frank A. Panella and Nicholas Arcese; and several great-nieces and -nephews

A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church by Father Joseph H. Metzger III. Burial will follow at St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Norfolk Chapel of 
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or to the Children's Hospital of The King's 
Daughters.
