Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 7, 1996 
Thomas Henry Madison, 90, of the 800 block of Philpotts Road, died Aug. 2, 1996,
in Lafayette Villa Nursing Center.

He was the widower of Hilda Madison. A native of McKinney, Va., he was the son
of the late Rev. C.P. and Maggie McClenny Madison. Mr. Madison was a retired
social worker and extension agent of the New York State Department.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Hortense M. Southall of Norfolk, Shelby M.
Taylor of Virginia Beach, Lucille B. Mays of Honolulu, Hawaii. He is also
survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at noon Friday in Riddick Funeral Chapel,
by the Rev. Geoffrey V. Guns. The family will assemble at the funeral home at
11:45 a.m. Friday.
