NORFOLK - Vernon Lewis Madison, 61, husband of Mrs. Amelia Dinofa Madison and son 
of the late Thomas W. and Mrs. Zelia Burton Madison, died at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
his residence, 408 West 20th St.
A retired machinist, he was a native of Roanoke, and had resided in Norfolk for 40 
years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Boole of Wilson, 
N.C., and two brothers, Earl L. Madison and Claude O. Madison of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Monday at 3 
p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
