Final rites for William Frank Madrey will be conducted Friday, June 19 at New
Central Baptist church at 2 p.m. by the pastor, the Rev. W. B. Westbrook.

Mr. Madrey was a native of Windsor, NC.  He resided at 410 E. Berkley avenue and
died June 15 in a local hospital after a short illness at the age of 71.

He was a member of New Central Baptist church serving on the deacon board and in
the choir.  He had retired several years ago from his job with the Southern
Material Supply company as a caulker.

The son of the late Frank and Mrs. Amanda Speller, he is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Minnie Gregg Madrey;  one daughter, Mrs. Catherine M. White of New York and
one foster son, Elbert Gregg.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge.
