Norfolk Virginian February 22, 1874
Funeral of Mr. McGee(sic) – The funeral services of this estimable gentleman took 
place yesterday morning from the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and were attended by a 
very large number of the relatives, friends and acquaintances of the deceased. The 
funeral sermon was delivered by the Rev. Father M. O’Keefe, after which the 
remains were taken to the cemetery on the prolongation of Church street for 
interment.
