Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 12, 1923

David Magee died yesterday morning at 7:15 o'clock at the home of his son-in-
law, J.L. From, 1310 Mallory Court.  Although a native of New York State, Mr. 
Magee had resided in Norfolk for forty years.  He is survived by a daughter, 
Mrs. J.L. From and three grandchildren.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
later.

Funeral services for Mr. Magee will be held this afternoon (private) at H.D. 
Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason Street.  Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.  Mr. Magee died Saturday morning at the home of his son-in-
law, J.L. From, 1310 Mallory Court.  He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. From 
and by three grandchildren.
