Stallings and Mrs. Martha Odom, both of Norfolk; a brother, Joseph Ault, of Dalton, Ga. and two grandchildren, Arthur H. Stallings, of Norfolk and Pvt. Joseph C. Odom, USMC. Mrs. Mahan was a native of Dalton, Ga. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 24 years, residing at 217 W. 16th St. She was in the employ of Ames & Brownley in the shoe department for a number of years. The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home. *************************************************************** Funeral services for Mrs. Bertie Mae Mahan were conducted at the Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home Sunday at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Charles H. Harthern, pastor of the Glad Tidings Church. Pallbearers were David Long, Lloyd H. Scott, E.L. Brown, Henry Steinberg, William J. Sharpe and J. Alton Matthews. Burial was in Riverside Memorial Park.
