MARY'S Sister Genevieve Maher died last evening at St. Vincent's Hospital. She had been in the sisterhood 38 years, during all of which time she had been connected with St. Mary's Orphan Asylum here, in which she was a teacher, this long term of service at one post of duty being a very remarkable fact of her life. She was a lovely character and during her long and faithful service in Norfolk, made many friends, to whom her death comes with a sense of deep loss. She was a native of Rochester, N.Y. and is survived by her mother and three sisters of that city. The funeral occurs at 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
