Virginian-Pilot February 11, 1962
NORFOLK – Mrs. Lucy Genevieve Hickey Mahoney, 74, widow of George A. Mahoney and 
daughter of Timothy J. and Mrs. Anne Virginia Weston Hickey, died Saturday at 
12:30 p.m. in a Norfolk nursing home.
She was a native of Norfolk, lately living at 601 Stockley Gardens. She was a 
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving are a brother, J. Burke Hickey 
of Baltimore, and nieces and nephews.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
The body will be taken to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. for a 
funeral service. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
