Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, January 19, 1993
Roland S. Mainor of the 2300 block of Myrtle Ave., a retired lab technician, 
died Jan. 15, 1993, in Norfolk Community Hospital. 

Mr. Mainor was born in Norfolk and retired in 1983 from Merck, Sharp, Dohme 
Pharmaceuticals after 26 years of service. He was a Marine Corps veteran of 
World War II. 

Survivors include his wife, Rhoda E. Mainor; a daughter, Roma M. Bridgett; a 
sister, Marjorie M. Smith of Norfolk; a brother, John J. ``Hank'' Mainor III of 
Fruitland, Md.; and two granddaughters, Amber D. Bridgett of Garland, Texas, and 
Inga U. Bridgett of Virginia Beach. 

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Second Calvary Baptist Church by 
the Rev. Geoffrey V. Guns. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body will be 
taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. Hale Funeral Home is handling 
arrangements.
