Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 25, 1912

Mrs. Katherine Maitland, widow of Frank Maitland, died at her home, 713 Brambleton 
Avenue, at 7 p.m. Sunday in the eighty-sixth year of her age.  She was a lady of 
many beautiful traits of character and her death will be learned with sorrow by a 
large circle of friends.  The funeral will be held at her late residence at 11 
o'clock this morning and will be conducted by Rev. J. Truman Anderson of Park 
Avenue Baptist Church.
