Melvin Major - Funeral services for Mr. Major, who died at the Veterans 
Administration Hospital, Roanoke VA, March 2, were held at the First Calvary 
Baptist Church, March 6, with the Rev. C. D. Griffin officiating. Interment was in 
Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Major is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Minetta Miller Major.
