She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Makarewicz. Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late John and Mary Logan, of Dickson City, she had been a longtime resident of Red Bank, N.J. Surviving are a daughter, Marianne and husband, David East, Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandsons, Eric Bell, Stuttgart, Germany; and Sean and wife, Christina Bell, Jacksonville, Fla.; a step-grandson, David and wife, Angela East, Chesapeake; a step-granddaughter, Kathleen East, Chesapeake; a great-granddaughter, Emilee Bell, Jacksonville; two step-great-granddaughters, Kelly and Heather East, Chesapeake; three sisters, Helen Williams, Nashville, Tenn.; Rita Graff, Toms River, N.J.; and Rita Hall, Hackettstown, N.J.; and cousins, Mary Logan Dembesky, Kathy Karr Cordaro, Dickson City; and Marlene Miles, Dunmore. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Richard Logan; and five sisters, Margaret Logan, Gertrude Karsnak, Anna Alexander, Clair Microulis and Mae Rasmess. A Mass for the repose of the soul will be Dec. 1 in St. Benedict's Chapel, Chesapeake.
