A registered nurse, she was a native of Baltimore, but had spent most of her life in Norfolk, residing at 1435 Moultrie Avenue at the time of her death. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Makinson; three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Longworth, Mrs. Ruth Burdakin and Mrs. Horace Jordan; three brothers, Allen R., John D. and Bruce G. Makinson, all of Norfolk. Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. W.H.T. Squires, D.D., pastor of Ingleside Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
