Adelaide Malbon, 71, daughter of Philip James Malbon Sr. and Margaret Whitehurst Malbon, died Saturday at 5:20 p.m., at Virginia Beach Hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and spent her entire life in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, residing at 111 86th St., Virginia Beach, at the time of her death. She was a co-owner of the Malbon Hardware Co. of Norfolk. She is survived by a brother, Philip James Malbon Jr. of Lynnhaven and a niece, Mrs. Richard B. Kellam of Princess Anne. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. tomorrow to Elmwood Cemetery for private services to be conducted by the Rev. Charles O. Kidd, pastor of Virginian Beach Methodist Church, of which Miss Malbon was a member. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
