Virginian-Pilot  March 5, 1964
NORFOLK - Edward Bernard Mallon, 72, of 3615 Buckingham St., a son of Bernard F. 
and Mrs. Mary Mulhaney Mallon, died in a hospital Wednesday at 3 p.m.
A native of Chicago, he lived in Norfolk 44 years. He was a member of Christ the 
King Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War I. He worked for Baldwin & 
Gregg, engineers, 36 years.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dorothy M. Becraft, and a niece, Mrs. Dorothy 
B. Hood, both of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
