A native and life-long resident of Norfolk, she resided at 401 Westover Avenue and had been employed at the W. G. Swartz Company for 50 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and of the Sodality, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Ancient Order of Hibernians, of Oneida Council Daughters of Pocahontas and of the Daughters of Isabella. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Catherine M. Maloney and Mrs. Edward Sweeney; one brother, Daniel B. Maloney; two nephews, James V. Maloney and Martin A. Maloney; two great-nieces and one great-nephew, all of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
