Virginian-Pilot  March 29, 1930
Miss Margaret Elizabeth Maloney, daughter of the late Bartholomew and Johanna Ryan 
Maloney, died at 4:10 a.m. yesterday at the residence, 401 Westover avenue. She 
was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, and was well and favorably known. 
Surviving her are three sisters, the Misses Catherine M. and Johanna A. Maloney, 
of Norfolk, and Mrs. Edward A. Sweeney, of San Diego. Cal., and one brother, 
Daniel B. Maloney, of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which she was a 
consistent member, Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
