Mance, aged 39, husband of Mrs. Sarah Wood Mance, and son of the late Frederick and Mrs. Ellen Doughtery Mance, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Friday night at 11:50 o'clock at a local hospital. Mr. Mance resided at 712 Princess Anne road, and was employed at the U.S. Marine Hospital. Besides his wife, Mrs. Sarah Wood Mance, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ralph T. Hudson, of Washington, and Mrs. Edward Kirchheimer, of Norfolk, and two brothers, John Mance, of Norfolk, and Melvin Mance, of Pembroke. Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock, with Chaplain William E. Callender, U.S.P.H.S., officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
