Norfolk - Mrs. Georgia Townsend Manley of 1005 Albert Ave. died Thursday in 
a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.

A native of North Carolina, she was a daughter of John and Mrs. Mary 
Townsend and the widow of Willie Manley.

She was an usher of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Washington and Mrs. Mary Mullen of 
Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Minter of Baltimore; five grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held sunday at 1 p.m. in Queen Street Baptist 
Church by the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, 
with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
