Norfolk Journal and Guide, Dec 29,1962
Mrs. Georgia Townsend Manley, an usher at Queen Street Baptist Church, was given 
final rites there Sunday.  A resident of 1005 Albert avenue, Mrs. Manley died in 
a Norfolk hospital Dec. 20.

The Rev. J. Jasper Freeman officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Manley, a native of North Carolina, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary 
Mullen and Mrs. Mildred Washington of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Minter 
of Baltimore;  five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
