She was a native of Petersburg and had been a resident of Portsmouth and Norfolk for the last 40 years. She was the widow of Cleveland Manning and daughter of D.M.W. and Mrs. Mary Ann Harding Nash. Mrs. Manning is survived by two brothers, George W. Nash, of Norfolk, and Harry C. Nash, of Portsmouth, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence, 639 West Twenty-sixth street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Frank L. Wells, D.D., pastor of Park Place Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Manning was a member, will officiate. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
