Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. L. J. Grimstead, Mrs. Lelia LaRue and Mrs. D. L. Stevens, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Lucille Beasley, of Princess Anne County; a son, Thomas T. Mansfield; a brother Thomas T. Osborne; 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mansfield was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. The body was taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church, of which she was a member, for funeral services Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday February 1, 1943 Mrs. Laura Osborne Mansfield Funeral services for Mrs. Mansfield were conducted at Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church yesterday at 4 o’clock by the Rev. Carlos O. Gardner, pastor. Mrs. Claudius Russell sang “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be” and “Safe In the Arms of Jesus,” accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Donald Edwards. Pallbearers were W. S. Tarkenton, A. L. Sexton, W. H. Murphey, S. R. Whitehurst, I. E. Jones and J. H. Craddock. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
