Mr. Mapp was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Hodgman, of Princess Anne County and Mrs. David E. Rippetoe, of Dillon, S. C.; a son, Richard C. Mapp, of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a stepson, William Stewart Archibald, of New York City; a step daughter, Miss Anne Laura Archibald, of New York City, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was take to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, pending arrangements.
