Mrs. Annie Mapp died Friday, Aug. 28, at her late residence, 573 Church St., 
leaving mourning her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Newby of 
Fenchurch St., and William Newby. Mrs. Mapp died suddenly in the night and her 
demise was not discovered until the next morning when she could not be awakened. 
Such a shock has greatly deepened the sorrow of the the bereaved family. The 
funeral was held Thursday, Sept. 3, at Garrett’s Community Church at 1 p.m.
