Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 10, 1934

Filippo Marchitelli, aged 60 years, a native of Italy and for the past 35 years 
a resident of Portsmouth, died at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning at a Norfolk 
hospital. He was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Association, of Norfolk and of 
the Loyal Order of Moose, Portsmouth. Remains were removed to H.D. Oliver's 
Funeral Apartments, 610-12 Eat Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements.  
Mr. Marchitelli is survived by a sister, Mrs. Finomini Marchitelli, of Italy.

MARCHITELLI, FILIPPO - At a local hospital, Friday, February 9th, 1934, at 8:30 
a.m., FILIPPO MARCHITELLI, in the 61st year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, No. 610-612 E. 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services MONDAY MORNING at 
10 o’clock. Friends are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
