Maurice M. Marcotte, 67, a retired longshoreman's time keeper, died Feb. 18, 1991, 
in a hospital.

Mr. Marcotte, a native of Pawtucket, R.I., had retired after 19 years. He was the 
widower of Mary A. Marcotte. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church 
and B.P.O.E. Lodge 38. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three daughters, Maureen Gatto of New York, and Barbara Cedar 
and Deborah Hensley, both of Norfolk; five sons, Kevin Marcotte of Virginia Beach, 
Maurice Marcotte Jr. and James Marcotte, both of Redondo Beach, Calif., John 
Marcotte of Ohio and Richard Marcotte of Norfolk; and a brother, Roger Marcotte.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ the King 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. Burial with military honors will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery. An Elks service will be at 7 p.m. today in Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, where friends may visit the family until 
8:30 p.m.
