NORFOLK - Mary Arlene Gorman Marcotte, 63, of the 600 block of Roland Drive, a 
homemaker, died Feb. 14,1988, in her home.
Mrs. Marcotte, a native of Pawtucket, R.I., was a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice Marcotte; three daughters, Maureen Gatto 
of Rhode Island, Barbara Ann Marcotte and Debra Jean Marcotte, both of Norfolk; 
seven sons, Maurice R. Marcotte and James P. Marcotte, both of California, John 
Marcotte of Washington, Brian Hopkins of Massachusetts, Kevin Marcotte of 
Virginia Beach and Richard Marcotte and Daniel Marcotte, both of Norfolk; her 
mother, Mable T. Gorman of Pawtucket; a sister, Rita Lappin of Pawtucket; a 
brother, Frank Gorman of Tampa, Fla; and 19 grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. today in Smith & Williams 
Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 
p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
