Virginian-Pilot  January 21, 1934
Mrs. Teresa Picone Margiotta, aged 35, wife of Dennis Margiotta and daughter of 
Rose and the late Joseph Picone, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 
5:25 o’clock. Mrs. Margiotta was a native of Italy and a resident of Norfolk for 
the past 25 years. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by four 
daughters, Filomena, Rose, Teresa and Frances Margiotta; one son, Dennis 
Margiotta, Jr.; two brothers, U. G. and Vincent Picone, and two sisters, Miss 
Geraldina Picone, and Mrs. Matteo Gambardella, all of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the residence, 1344 Mallory court, to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
