Marks of 310 East 26th street, Sunday in Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. M. C. Southerland. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery by Morning Glory Funeral Home. He was a Shiloh deacon. Mr. Marks died March 24, in his residence following an illness at the age of 73. A North Carolina native, he was the husband of Mrs. Ethel Lee Marks and a son of the late Jim Marks and Mrs. Nancy Marks. He was a Mason and a member of the Progressive Social Club. He was retired from U. S. Naval Supply Center after 34 years. His survivors include two sons, James Marks of Portsmouth and Howard Marks of Richmond; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
