DEATH OF A SISTER OF CHARITY
THE VIRGINIAN is pained to announce the death this morning of Sister Blanche 
Marks, which occurred at St. Vincent’s Hospital last evening at 7 o’clock, of 
consumption. The deceased had been in the city about ten months and came here from 
Albany, New York, for her health. She was born in Washington, and had spent 
considerable time in Albany. She was only 26 years of age at the time of her 
death. Her funeral will take place from the Hospital Sunday morning at 10:30 
o’clock.
