Virginian-Pilot May 31, 1989
CHESAPEAKE - Charles John Marks III, 55, of the 2300 block of Baum Road, a self-
employed logger, died May 28,1989, in a hospital.
Mr. Marks was a native of Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth K. Marks; a daughter, Elizabeth M. Bell of 
Chesapeake; two sisters, Frances E. Kovacs and JoAnn Marks, both of Virginia 
Beach; and two brothers, Jacob F. Marks of Chesapeake and Alvin C. Eure of 
Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Twiford Colonial Chapel by 
The Rev’s. Ralph Horn and Edward L. Richardson. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 7 p.m. today in the funeral 
home for a prayer service, and afterwards until 9 p.m.
