Virginian-Pilot June 25, 1958
NORFOLK - Peter Victor Marois, 68, son of the late Victor and Mrs. Mary Country 
Marois, died Monday at 11 p.m., at a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Marois, well-known retired grocer, was a native of Oswego, Mich., and had 
been a resident of Norfolk for most of his life, residing at 387 W. Ocean View 
Ave. at the time of his death. His wife, Mrs. Mamie Baines Marois, died May 27.
Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Wagner and Mrs. Vivian Cabaniss, 
of Norfolk; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Enright and Mrs. Ellen 
Moorehead, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Virginia Whitehurst, of Princess Anne County, 
and two brothers, Clifford Marois and William Marois, both of Princess Anne 
County.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments 
today at 7:30 p.m.
The family will assemble at 387 W. Ocean View Ave.
