Marshall announcing the death of his father, Captain Albert N. Marshall, at his winter home in Daytona, Florida, which occurred early yesterday morning. The remains will be brought to the home of his son, on Lee street, where the funeral will be held. The arrangements have not been completed. Captain Marshall was a well known resident of this place, especially in maritime circles, he having successfully established many years ago the well known firm of The Marshall Tow Boat Company. He was a man of genial disposition and well liked by all who knew him. He was 80 years old and leaves a widow, besides the following children by a previous marriage: Mrs. W.K. Milholland, of Indianapolis and Mrs. W.B. Shafer of Norfolk; Walter N., Joe and Albert N. Jr., all of Norfolk, besides numerous grandchildren. **************************************************************** The body of Captain A.N. Marshall, who died at his winter home, Daytona, Fla., arrived yesterday morning over the Seaboard Air Line and was carried to the residence of his son, Captain Walter N. Marshall, 107 Lee street, where the funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The following grandsons will be pallbearers: G.F. Marshall, R.M. Marshall, Wallace Marshall, Walter H. Marshall, Barringer D. Marshall and Raymond Milholland. Marshall, who died last week in Daytona, Fla., took place at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the residence of his son, Captain Walter N. Marshall, 107 Lee street, Berkley, and was largely attended. Rev. S.J. Battin, pastor of the Memorial M.E. Church, conducted the service. Burial took place in Magnolia Cemetery. During the service Mrs. Dadmun and Mrs. Moore, with Mrs. W.B. Dougherty, as accompanist, sang two duets, "Sometime We'll Understand" and "The Handwriting on the Wall". The latter was a favorite of Captain Marshall and was sung by request. The pallbearers, all grandsons of the deceased were as follows: Bruce Shafer, Barringer Marshall, G.F. Marshall, Walter H. Marshall, Wallace Marshall and Raymond Milholland.
