Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 24, 1916

The funeral of Mrs. Laura L. Marshall, widow of W.O. Marshall, who died Wednesday 
night at the home of her son, W.R. Marshall, 1034 West Thirty-fifth Street, will 
take place at Burrows Memorial Baptist Church, of which she was a member, this 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.A. McKaughn.  Burial 
will be in Elmwood.  She was 58 years old, a native of Virginia, had lived in 
Norfolk 35 years and was greatly esteemed.  She is survived by two sons, W.R. and 
L.B. Marshall of Norfolk.
