Marsteller, and postmistress at Virginia Beach for 10 years, died yesterday morning at 11:05 o’clock at her home, 207 Twentieth street, Virginia Beach. Mrs. Marsteller was the daughter of the late Capt. John G. and Mrs. Veronica McGehee Wallace. She was born in Wallacetown, Norfolk County, and was a lifelong resident of this section. She served as postmistress at Virginia Beach from 1923, when she was appointed by President Coolidge, until 1933. She was a member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Walton E. Partridge, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Russell W. Hatchett, of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and two brothers, John G. Wallace, II, treasurer of Norfolk County, and William M. Wallace, of Washington. ’ The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, to the Star of the Sea Church at Virginia Beach, where services will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. Rosary services will be held tonight at 7:30 o’clock at the Oliver Funeral Apartments.
