Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch, February 23, 1920
Miss Mary Martin, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John C. Martin, died at the family 
residence, 126 W Ninth Street, at 6:30 a.m. yesterday, aged 29 years. Besides 
her parents she leaves two brothers, Captain Fred Martin, of the U. S. S. Lake 
Glasgow, and John C. Martin, secretary and treasurer of the Millner Dairy 
Company of Norfolk. The funeral will be held from the funeral apartments of H. 
C. Smith Co., 306-08 Bank Street, at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. S. A. 
Donahoe of the Cumberland Street Methodist Church officiating.
