 The Virginian Pilot Wednesday Dec. 26, 1962
Mrs. Mary Parks Martin, of 2115 Hampton Blvd. died Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital after an illness of 3 1/2 months.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Jobe Thomas 
and Mrs. Virginia Disharoon Parks and the widow of Arthur Henry Martin. She 
was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Catherine C. Martin of Norfolk, and a sister, 
Mrs. I.T. Bell of Virginia Beach.
The body will be taken from Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, to Magnolia 
Cemetery today at 1 p.m,. for a private funeral service. The family requests 
that flowers be omitted.
