The Virginian Pilot Sunday January 8, 1967
NORFOLK - John Gatewood Martin, 61, of 111 W. 31st St., the husband of Mrs. 
Estelle A. Martin and a son of Godfrey Augustus and Mrs. Lallah Etheridge 
Martin, died Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a member of Wesleymen's Bible Class.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Emma T. Moots, and a 
brother, William H. Martin, both of Norfolk.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
The family will be at 3405 Lafayette Blvd.
