Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday January 16, 1945
Mrs. Lillian Hutoka Martin, aged 72 years, widow of George Gresham Martin and 
daughter of the late Rev. R.T. and Mrs. Hutoka Hobbs Wilson, a native of Sussex 
County and a resident of Norfolk for 53 years, died Monday at 12 o'clock noon at 
the residence, 1048 Spotswood avenue.  Surviving her are two sons, George G. 
Martin, Jr. and Richard W. Martin; a granddaughter, Miss Harriett Martin, all of 
Norfolk; a brother, Judge Richard T. Wilson, of Petersburg; three sisters, Mrs. 
Richard Fox of Richmond, Miss Daisy P. Wilson of Wilmington, Del. and Miss Leigh 
Wilson, of Philadelphia.  Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartment tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Thomas F. Carroll, D.D., 
pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Martin was a member, 
officiating  Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
