Norfolk Virginian Thursday June 25, 1896

The funeral of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Martin's infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth, took 
place from her parent's residence, on Berkley Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 
5:30 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. R.M. Chandler, of Chestnut Street M.E. 
Church.  The remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery.

The many friends of Mr. A.H. Martin, clerk of the County Court, regret to learn 
of the death of his little daughter, which occurred late Tuesday afternoon.  
This is the second child Mr. Martin has lost this year.
