Funeral Services for Book Publisher Will Take Place at Norfolk at Noon

Funeral services over the body of James C. Martin, book publisher, who died 
Saturday night in his home in the Hanover Apartments, after a linger illness 
will be conducted in Norfolk today upon the arrival of the train leaving 
Richmond over the Norfolk and Western at 8:50 this morning.
Rev. W. Russell Bowie, D. D., rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. 
Richmond, of which the deceased was a communicant, will conduct the funeral 
services. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include Major 
Alexander Forward, Joseph D. Hank, George L. Guy, William L. Prince, Robert 
Vaden, J. M. Stayman, Dr. Paul W. Howie, Dr. William S. Higgins, Colonel 
Joseph Button, Dr. E. B. Ferebee, Frank L. Schofield, Harris Hart, R. O. 
Bell, James Hillman, Walter C. Mercer, John McCarthy, Dr. W. J. Stiff, John 
R. Saunders and Walter L. Clack.
