Martin, died yesterday afternoon at 3:20 o'clock at the family residence, 111 Berkley Avenue, in the eighth year of her age from an attack of meningitis of ten days' duration. She was a bright and lovable child and the joy of her home. The funeral will be conducted from the residence Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock and the remains will be interred in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. ************** MARTIN - At the residence of her parents, No. 111 Berkley Avenue, Saturday, April 16, 1904, at 3:20 o'clock p.m., MARY MAUD, daughter of George G. and Lillian H. Martin, aged 7 years, 8 months and 4 days. Funeral will take place from the above residence MONDAY, April 18, 1904, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. FUNERAL OF MARY M. MARTIN The funeral of Mary Maud, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George G. martin, was conducted from the residence, 111 Berkley Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. J. Powell Garland, presiding elder of this district of Portsmouth officiated. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery and the following acted as pallbearers: Messrs. George T. Tilley, C.L. Old, R.S. Marshall, William Spottswood, W.L. Berkley and Henry Pile.
