NORFOLK - Miss Teresa Martin died Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in the home of her 
brother-in-law, John W. Freeman, 723 Shirley Ave., after a long illness. 
She was a daughter of Col. George Alexander and Mrs. Georgiana Wickers Martin 
and lived in the Norfolk area all of her life.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. J. H. Frantz and Mrs. Louise Sowers, both of 
Salem; and a nephew, George A. Martin Jr. of Williamstown, N.J.	
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

MARTIN, MISS TERESA – At the residence, 723 Shirley Avenue, Sunday afternoon, 
July 22nd, 1962, at 12:30 p.m., MISS TERESA MARTIN, daughter of the late George 
Alexander and Mrs. Georgiana Wickers Martin. Services at the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, THIS (Tuesday) MORNING, July 24, 1962, at 10:30. Burial will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
