Virginian-Pilot  August 22 & 23, 1920
William R. Martin, aged 62 years, died last night at midnight, at his residence, 
214 West Fourteenth street. He was a native of Norfolk. Surviving him are his 
widow, one son, E. J. Martin, and three daughters, Misses Anna and Virginia 
Martin and Mrs. R. F. Loper, the latter of Cradock. Funeral arrangements will be 
announced later.

MARTIN, WILLIAM R. - At the residence, No. 214 West 14th street, Sunday, August 
22, 1920, at 12 o’clock a.m., WILLIAM R. MARTIN, in the 62d year of his age.
Funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic church TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend.
