Miss Marianne Read Martin,32, daughter of James Green Martin and Mrs. 
Henrietta Niemeyer Martin, died yesterday morning in Staunton.
Miss Martin was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a graduate of St. Mary’s 
School, Raleigh, N.C. Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, 
James Green Martin, IV, of Norfolk and four sisters, Mrs. Donald Bartlett, of 
Norwich, Vt.; Mrs. Henry L. Forbes, Jr., of Mt. Royal, Canada; Mrs. William 
Capehart Harney, of Summit, N.J., and Mrs. William C. Worthington, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the residence, 921 Graydon Avenue, to St. Andrew’s 
Episcopal Church for funeral services tomorrow at 11 a.m., by the Rev.  
Beverley Tucker White, rector. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
