The Virginian Pilot Friday November 3, 1961
Richard Wilson Martin, 65, a former practicing attorney, died Thursday morning 
in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late George Gresham and Mrs. Lillian 
Wilson Martin.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina he joined his brother 
George G. Martin Jr. and William B. Tilley in the law firm of Martin, Tilley & 
Martin in 200 block of West Berkley Avenue.
He is survived only by his brother.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Magnolia Cemetery 
for a private funeral service Saturday by the Rev. Hugh M. Burleigh, D.D., 
pastor of Epworth Methodist Church.
