Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 6, 1990 
Hazel Inez Mason, of the 2200 block of Barraud Ave., died Dec. 4, 1990, in a
hospital.

Mrs. Mason, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Rufus D. Mason. She was a
member of St. John A.M.E. Church and Barraud Park Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include four daughters, Rosetta Mason and Barbara J. Harrell, both of
Norfolk, Alva Black of Chesapeake and Bernetta Duke of New York City; four sons,
Rufus D. Mason, Oliver Mason, Robert D. Mason and Leonard E. Mason, all of
Norfolk; and 17 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
